Majority Advisors developed a comprehensive outreach and education strategy for an emerging Direct Air Capture (DAC) client:

• Scheduled educational introduction meetings with 20 members of the Legislature, including leadership from both houses and critical committee Chairs.

• Secured two budget request letters, authored by a member of the Assembly and a bipartisan, bicameral caucus to push for DAC research funding.

Successfully Guided Legislation to Passage for Emerging Sports Industry

• Worked with our client to help pass AB 2298 (Mayes, 2022) that provided necessary clarifications for the recreational surfing industry.

• Previous regulations required recreational surfing devices be regulated as swimming pools, imposing undue and improper maintenance and upkeep requirements on surfing - our team worked with regulatory departments, the Legislature and industry experts to develop a solution that was signed by the Governor in 2022.
